How do i remove this...

when i clean my car, i have these marks left on my alloys.
can i use anythink to get them off, with out harming the alloys.

also the first scuff marks on the n/s front Sad

Iron X will remove the 'yellowing' in the corner of the spokes for sure. I'd also say Tardis would remove the marks in picture #1.

Have you de-tarred the wheels and clayed them as well or just washed?

As for the scuffs, nothing I can say there I'm afraid Wink

You could try a clay bar or specialist alloy cleaner? Sometimes brake dust/tar etc gets stuck on and can be a bugger to get off but a clay bar/detailing kit could help? As for the scuffs, there's smart repair companies that could fix them or you could try patching it up yourself with filler or the like. If you were really fussed you could have the alloys refurbished.

no i jus tend to clean them. but i will look into the stuff u said. cheers..

not too bothered about the scuff... jus the first ones on the wheels which is Sad

As said a de-tarer would be a good start, Tardis is the bet but any would be a good start. If you get clay for the rest of the car you can use that the same way on wheels and Iron X removes iron fillings which is what the yellowing is in the corners Smile

when mine were silver i just lightly rubbed wire wool on that stuff and it brought it off then i waxed the wheels to protect, when i say lightly i mean real lightly as you dont wanna scratch your wheel, well in all fairness i diddnt scratch them even though i was in a rush

but the above products sound good matey
