#3: Re: transistor Author: thompson69, Location: bishop aucklandPosted: Mon Feb 28, 2011 2:06 pm ---- the seller says it in there because of the LED's?
#4: Re: transistor Author: perry081064, Location: staffordshirePosted: Mon Feb 28, 2011 2:06 pm ---- maybe he means resistor
#5: Re: transistor Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Mon Feb 28, 2011 2:07 pm ---- You might need resistors but not transistors
What's the problem?

#8: Re: transistor Author: thompson69, Location: bishop aucklandPosted: Mon Feb 28, 2011 2:10 pm ---- the brake lights on the passenger light is not workin he says it the transistor? :S maybe he means resisters im not sure :s
#9: Re: transistor Author: macca1411, Location: Westhoughton, LancashirePosted: Mon Feb 28, 2011 2:10 pm ---- I'm thinking it will be the resistor for canbus lights.
But to be honest if the light isn't working, it could be a number of things from bad connections to new LED's required. Until you look yourself, you won't know Last edited by macca1411 on Mon Feb 28, 2011 2:12 pm; edited 1 time in total

lols yurp, to make them realise that it's been changed and to use words rather than messed up replacements of lettrz isn't it, but it's better than the old [text talk filtered] message after everything

he said they still work if u run a wire from the drivers side :s
#13: Re: transistor Author: macca1411, Location: Westhoughton, LancashirePosted: Mon Feb 28, 2011 2:36 pm ---- Still doesn't help any. Unless there is a complicated circuit board behind each light (which I doubt) then it sounds more like a connection issue.
If you are buying of the site you listed then I think you should read up on the sale of goods act, especially the part where it says that goods should be of merchantable quality. If you are buying from a private seller, then it's buyer beware. But running a wire from one to the other could quite easily overload any electrical components fitted to the lights, so personally unless I knew what was wrong with them, I wouldn't part with any money.
