If the fuse it fine and the main beam is working, you've either damaged the bulb holder/connector or there's a break in the wiring from the short circuit

The plastic connector that the bulb connects into is damaged it's melted . It was like that when I bought the car and the light was working .. But the plastic holder itself has kinda fell to bits but surely if you plug the spade connectors to the bulb it would still work ?

Guess what it was a fuse...
just pull all fuses out one by one and check them. MAKE SURE YOUR CAR'S batttery is disconnected safely
