#1: 2.0 HDi Question/problem? Author: Tom206, Location: KENTPosted: Fri Mar 04, 2011 8:57 am ---- Is it normal that when you change gear at 2,000 revs (peak boost) that it makes a dump valve noise??? its not very loud but you can hear it well!
I love the noise but im wondering is somethings loose as it seems a bit sluggish compared to normal? would the fact that i've got 2 brand new tyres on the front cause this?
1 more thing..... what the best value for money induction kit/panel filter upgrade... im not looking to spend stupid amounts and so im thinking about a panel filter but will it make a difference?
Thanks

Just get a panel filter, the turbo sucks in all the air the car needs

Check all the pipes for leaks, thats what im doing this weekend. Although i noticed it doesnt do it when you rev the car from under the bonnet, only when driving and under load.

Its eats most 1.4s 1.6s for Brunch! 1.8s creep up behind the torque is just "mmm"
