#1: wing/bumper Author: oldbanger2, Location: m1/m18Posted: Sat Mar 05, 2011 5:09 am ---- how do you separate the lower half of the bumper thats attached to the front wing do you just pull it down hard??..there is a square bolt but the nut and bolt is turning & i cant get access to hold it..

i had this problem with mine when i was replacing my wing, took me a good 30 mins to get a way to get it off

yeah thats what i found happened with mine
you will have to employ the help of someone and get a pair of pliers on the edge of the square bolt to try and hold it while someone else undoes the nut from the top
awkward but its the way i managed to do mine

I used two sockets and the bolt snapped in the end, replaced it with a new one and some copper grease in case i ever have to undo it again
