#1: Debadge stage 2 Author: davieboy86, Location: Kent,Posted: Sat Mar 05, 2011 8:27 am ---- Right guys I've manage to Debadge the lx from the sides of the motor and got it looking as if they were never there.
However, the back didnt go so well, you van see what's left in the picture, after removing the Peugeot 206 from the boot I was left with some markings, gonna have a go with the t-cut tonight and hopefully I can get it looking perfect.
UPDATE: well so far I've got it looking like this on the 206 side, not much is happening now when I'm t cutting, I'm hoping this isn't the best it's going to be

#6: Re: Debadge stage 2 Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Thu Mar 10, 2011 9:32 am ---- it looks as if its pulled the lacquer coat off of the paint where the badge used to be. thats why you can see the white outline where the laquer starts again
#7: Re: Debadge stage 2 Author: Danw_VVT, Location: Herts/LondonPosted: Thu Mar 10, 2011 9:35 am ---- as said above mate looks like its pulled some lacquer off i would probably try a coarser polish then a finer then a fine to smooth it all in.
#8: Re: Debadge stage 2 Author: davieboy86, Location: Kent,Posted: Thu Mar 10, 2011 10:08 am ---- yeah the lacqeur is definately off, heres how the peugeot side looked when i first took the badge off:
then after about 4 hours of t cutting and polishing:
from a distance you cant see it but the 206 side is proving trickier
