I've had a search, but I need more info.

Is this valve here to do with it?

I removed the cap & pushed in the valve stem & it hisses, a lot.

Help please Smile

yes that is the aircon!
Best way to bleed the coolant system is to take the cap off the tank then leave the engine ticking over till the coolant in the tank bubbles and the fan kicks in. Then fill it up to the warm mark and do it again.Squeezing the top hose aswell will push the air out.

mattievrs is right

Remove your filler cap and top up water start the car leave to tick over for 5mins then top up if needed
Rev the to too 2,000rpm and hold there for 30seconds check water level and repeat until water level does not drop.

Dime bar.
There is a brass bleed screw in the thermostat housing and one on the heater hose where it goes through the bulkhead.

The one on the hose was fine, where is the thermostat one located?

I think I may actually have a faulty thermostat now as the temp fluctuates randomly, last night I took it for a 30 mile drive, this morning I did 10 on the way to work & it started acting up a bit.

This is the thermostat housing. The copper coloured screw is at the front of it.
