#1: Question about spraying, im confused Author: Razpulsedj, Location: Partying with the Info ShufflersPosted: Wed Mar 09, 2011 7:28 am ---- Right ive just been out and bought some proper paint for my car which was made up and i was told it wont need laquer on top as it has a gloss finish anyway so do i need to wet n dry it after its 3rd coat of the paint or not, i want the best finish as possible.
Is it better to wet the sandpaper or have it dry for keying before paint?

If there is no dirt in the paint when you finished dont bother sanding and buffing it.

Thats why you can get something sprayed in a solid colour in a day

Ahh right, so i dont need to add laquer once sprayeed because it already has some sort of it contained in the paint then

Don't wet sand paper as it will fall to bits. If you're using "wet or dry" paper, I always use it wet. reduces dust and helps the paper glide over the surface, and helps reduce clogging.

Don't wet sand paper as it will fall to bits. If you're using "wet or dry" paper, I always use it wet. reduces dust and helps the paper glide over the surface, and helps reduce clogging.
Yeah im using the wet n dry paper so wet that and it will work fine?
