Right ho peoples, i have two things to ask

1. I have a piper cam sat on my desk, but it has a few deep groves where it sits in the engine circular holders? Not on the lobes
Would this effect it in any way if i put it in?

2. I have H4 morettes and my outer dipped beam is also one of my main beam lenses, (twin filiment) would i need a Hi/Low HID set or would just a low be ok?

Ta muchly Very Happy

That cam is fit for the metal recyling skip.

What happened to the head it came from, bearing's would be well shagged Laughing

Would have thought youd need high/low for your type morettes. (also assuming high beam is needed for MOT and purely for vision it makes sense)

Those engine circular holders as you call them are where the camshaft bearings run inside the cylinder head.

It would still run, but not for very long before it shagged the bearings.

If you can feel the grooves it's past its best. Apart from anything you can see corrosion on it - not good.
