forgot to say aswell, dont fancy turbo looking into all options tho before i do anything drastic
#57: Re: Project: Popped cherry Author: Nic_206, Location: cleaning the carPosted: Thu Feb 09, 2012 12:53 pm ---- im still in need of a exhaust should have one made up soon though and lol and ahh yeah mate dont blame you to get that done right its a dear do! I think I told you about having a idea of putting it on bodies? thats ideas now been banished just want to get the exterior and interior up to standard then once thats done ill think of maybe even more poke plus im after another car as a family wagon so moneys tight lol
#58: Re: Project: Popped cherry Author: Nic_206, Location: cleaning the carPosted: Thu Feb 09, 2012 3:17 pm ---- update: cracked on with yet some more tedious sanding (when will it end lol) had a little mess about making my badgeless front grill spent about 20 mins in which got fed up so carried on with the sanding after a hour and half decided to make some smoothed mirrors (pictures to follow) just to see what they would look like if I like them ill put them on the car if not they were only spares anyway and ill put the gti ones back on going to be sorting the engine bay out and get it looking tidier until I can do the respray then ill crack on with other bits like interior etc
#59: Re: Project: Popped cherry Author: craigdmjv, Location: WiltshirePosted: Thu Feb 09, 2012 6:13 pm ---- you should get a hidden exhaust ans smooth over the gap in the bumper with phase 2s and smoothed boot and maybe some dished splits, lows and morettes
