#1: knocking OS driver wheel Author: qwert, Location: ukPosted: Sun Mar 13, 2011 9:36 am ---- i get a bad knocking noise which seems to be coming from the drivers wheel, everytime i hit a bump or pot hole.
The drop links seem fine. I had new springs, top mounts, shocks and drop links about 4 months ago.
What would cause the problem?

jack car up, hold wheel at 10 to 2 and wiggle it, see if there is any play.
