#1: How much? Author: MutilateTheDead, Location: DerbyPosted: Sun Mar 13, 2011 4:21 pm ---- I'm going to be shopping around for prices soon for cambelt and clutch, how much should i be looking at for the items (ie clutch and cam bet) and labour to fit them as i won't be doing it myself. I don't want a fancy clutch as i don't race.

The manual says 80k or 8 years so I'm a year overdue. That price doesn't include a new water pump though. If you get the cam belt done you want the water pump changed at the same time even if its ok. The reason being that it's exactly the same job labour wise which is where the cost comes in. Cambelt kits and tensioners can be picked up for around 80 quid IIRC on eurocarparts. and thats not even trade price. The money is paying for the mechanic to do the work.
