#1: Wheel Bearing Problem (I think!!!) Author: JonnyH, Location: Newcastle upon TynePosted: Mon Mar 14, 2011 12:59 pm ---- On my PUG 206 there seems to be a load noise coming from the passenger side and this will get louder the faster I'm going. If I'm going down a motorway my car will literally sound like an airplane.
Believe it's a wheel bearing as I got near side drop link replaced just 4 months ago. Any other ideas if not a wheel bearing?
Also what is the price of wheel bearings nowadays for repairs and is it easy enough to do yourself?
EDIT: When I turn the wheel both left/right at a standstill you can hear a noise also!
