Just had my car scanned by my next door neighbour who is a mechanic and the fault came up as a fuel injector, its been misfiring for a week now. And after having a look around for a price for a new one it seems to me like there's loads of different types of them for my car, the 1.4 8v, can anyone help me with this on what type i need and where would be the best place to go for one please? Thanks in advance Adam

they just seemed a tad expensive on there though compared to some ones on ebay that were going for a lot lot less but they looked similar just in different colours etc so i didnt know if they would still fit my car?

you can always ask them if it is the correct part for your car.... you will need the VIN as well....

please don't compare the price of a bosch injector to those nameless cheap injectors on ebay. you get what you paid

I recently had to buy a new injector and your right they are expensive from eurocarparts, but i went for it because you know for certain that its working. You could save yourself £40 by getting one off ebay but if it doesnt work then youve got to buy another one, meaning you dont save anything in the long run.

Plus i cant recommend eurocarparts enough i ordered late thursday night, paid for delivery for monday and to my surprise it arrived 8am saturday morning.

In the meantime you might want to search on here for misfiring faults/ injectors, when mine was dodgey i managed to find out a lot of info about different peoples problems which helped to narrow down what the fault was with my engine.

My old V reg car had the white / grey style injectors. i bought a whole fuel rail off a scrappy for £20, this had black injectors on it off a Y reg. Fitted one of the black ones to my car and it worked fine. I dont know what manufacturer made them tho.

I just checked the ones you have for sale with the ones that come up on euro parts for my car mate and they look different ones but cheers for the offer anyway. I think they must be the white/grey ones so i will pop to the scrappy tomorrow and see if theyve got one/ a set if cheap enough
