Ask the motor factors about the rear brake shoe fitting kits too, they shouldn't cost much more than £10. You should ask the garage for a detailed list of what needs doing ie levers, brake cylinder, chances are you can do it a lot cheaper yourself.

I cant remember what the guy said, but he is trusted, we put about 8 cars through him a year for mot and general work lol (big family) he said something fell off, brake pads are shot and things hit things causing lots of damage in the drum,
