#4: Re: clutch Author: Quarmbo, Location: Bristol & LeicesterPosted: Mon Mar 21, 2011 9:56 am ---- Give them a chance, its only been an hour and a half. First thing I'd do if I wasn't mechanically minded is take it back to the place I had the clutch done.

For the cluth cable, it contain a self adjust mechanism. When u hear something like 'click' whenever u press down the pedal, u know that is time to change the cable. The only thing adjustable is the clucth peadal itself, there's a nut u can play with to adjust the height of the pedal.

we all make mistakes though..
#11: Re: clutch Author: Abzynthe, Posted: Mon Mar 21, 2011 10:18 am ---- Id tighten the nut on the pedal to make it go a bit lower, the cable will self adjust to it. So it will be fine if its still going into gear fine.

Yes i did this the morning after, so it doesn't come up so high but that didn't change anything...
Just wondered if its anything to worry about really..
