#1: 206 Wing-mirror Glass replacement.. Author: Adam89, Location: Gateshead PostPosted: Mon Mar 21, 2011 1:36 pm
    ----
The short is the passenger side mirror clipped a temporary cone joining the dual carriage way today and the glass fell out.. BAH. Wing-mirror itself is fine and the electrical adjustment but I ask this..

Is there any difference between the replacement glass for electric adjustment mirrors opposed to manual adjustment

AND..

my cars a sport model, there are wires in the casing which I'd assume are for electrically heated mirrors, which I don't believe mine has so I again, assuming these are just your case of being in the right place but not connected or is there a possibility I am supposed to have heated mirrors, therefore I need to get that replacement glass.

Any help appreciated, especially if anyone has LH glass and backing clip for sale!

Cheers, Adam.

If the mirrors have the two brown wires, then you have heated glass.

Normally only about a fiver off ebay, maybe not much more from peugeot

Cheers, wasn't too sure.

I'll pop into Peugeot tomorrow. eBay is looking about £11 for glass with backing plate. Fiver for the glass itself but I don't have broken glass to stick it on top of, it came out completely.

A genuine Peugeot / Citroen part will clip sraight in.

4 plastic clips, make sure you press them all firmly in to place.

Some main dealers will fit them for you FOC as they dont want the customer coming back moaning if it falls off
