Cleaned the car today, so decided to try and get a shot for Febs comp once the weather dried up a bit, and while I was out, I took some more shots, mostly with 15sec shutter in and around Newcastle and Gateshead.

Sorry if there's loads!

These are in and around St James' stadium as I was trying to find a shot for the Feb comp.

Then I moved down to the quayside, and behind the Sage.

Nice shot with the Sage and the Tyne bridge in view.

Millenium Bridge

I love this shot as a bus went past and left the funky orange lighting in the background..

Then I moved from behind the Sage to down where 'The Boat' nightclub used to be, under the tyne bridge - hope i didnt do any lasting damage to the bottom of my car on the severe speed bump there Sad

excellent photos there mate, much better scenery than here in durham. I seriously need a bigger tripod, using a velbon CX mini, useful for abandoned buildings but not for cars.

Great shots, we should meet up for a lil photoshoot some time!

Aw I dont know, not the best position for it. Once I noticed it I made it a feature....
I think this is my favourite shot due to the unexpected bus going past and giving the orange streaks in the background.

Thanks for the kind comments guys, its amazing what you can do with a pocket bridge compact camera.

Thats a great idea matey. It will be around this time next year that I clean my car next so pencil it in for then! Very Happy Only joking. Some cracking spots for shots around me if you fancy a trip up sometime.

I was using a mini tripod, and it wasnt the best though through plan. Soggy knees and elbows.
