What is the part called that is located between the door hinges, it attaches to the door and car. Its the bit that stops the door opening to far??

Do it sooner rather than later! My misses didn't pay attention to what i was saying to her and opened the door full pelt when the strap was gone, hello crease in the door Sad

lol, mine have been like that for so long now my girlfriend knows that crack lmao! Although there has been a couple close calls!

There passenger door strap has completly gone, and the door just misses the strap al together, and swings freely! And the drivers door just makes a massive click noise and each click on the strap its horrible! Are they a faff to change? Or okay?

Just grease the drivers one.

Easy.

Door card off, undo the torx bolt on the car, then on the outside of the door through the hole the arm of the strap is sticking out through there's 2 nuts (10mm i think). Undo these and it'll fall out through the inside.

Reverse that to re-fit
