#1: Danlouiee's Project Black on Silver..updated 02/05/13 Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Thu Mar 24, 2011 5:17 pm ---- So it all began just before i passed my test 2nd time..(best drivers do don't they?!) and my mum had been looking at cars for me for my 18th birthday and i didn't wanna go down the road of a typical corsa or saxo because a: they're too comman in Plymouth and b: the insurance is through the roof!
i found this little 3 door 1.1 8v style basic as you like advertised for £1900 private sale with 99250 on the clock. My mum went down to cornwall to see it before i knew it and saw it and said that she would buy it and knocked £500 off it too!..so i knew if i passed my test then i would have it! Took my test and passed it so that weekend off we went to pick it up and when we got there i was counting the money to give to the bloke and he said as its your birthday call it £1350...IDEAL! i saw it and fell in love with it! I wasnt insured so i couldnt drive it back..and i was dreading after getting an average quote from all companies of £3000 atleast!:(
i got it home and started to give it a wash and a clean and mum came out and said that she had insured it in her name for 500 over ten months and i get a years no claims for when it goes in my name..churchill BOOM!
We went out for a drive in it and then the first problem hit us..Alternator! so had to fork out £120 on the part and fitting for that!
my Birthday came and my girlfriend bought me some Lexus rear lights which i think make the car look good, especially as it was already debadged! Then to add to that my dad bought me some 525 watt Vibe black air 6x9's and a Kenwood Ipod HU and gave me a spare Sub that he had lying about!
YES THE BUG HAd HIT ME!
Here is a photo up Plymouth Hoe - you can get some cracking shots up here and i plan too now the is getting weather gets better!
My Dad had a set of 106 GTI/Quiksilver 14" Raptors sat in his garage so instead of forking out on new front tyres i put these on and they looked okay!
about October i stumbled across a set of Angel Eyes on Ebay and won them for just £58 quid! bargain! easy to fit, a bugger to wire!
My sub Blew up twice! i had more powerful amps put in at Plymouth Car sounds and they said that my speaker had blown..so i sourced a new one..early christmas present?!
Trip to the car wash as a treat...
Christmas approached and i found these TSW 17" Evo-r alloys on ebay and only about 60 miles away and so i won them for £36.01!! i went off and picked them up! unfortunatly i havent got a picture of them on car but they looked class however they rubbed the arches like crazy and the tyres were £65 each! 205/Z40R17!
So MOT was approaching and due to the condition they were in i looked on Ebay for a set of Peugeot alloys as i sold the Raptors..Doh! and found some Cyclones of a 306GTI-6 for £55 in Saltash so i went and got them and put them on and it failed its MOT on
-Catalytic converter (didn't even test for emmisions)
- Ball Joint linkages
- Back seat Locking point
..£242 later i got the car back but previous i had thoughts that the head gasket was going. i had a funny water noise in the passenger footwell and a judddering in the engine on start up..
..and 3 hours of having it back it was only running on 2 cylinders and i was getting no power 15mph at the most! lights on the dash like a disco! I drove like it for 3 miles to get it home and it sat in my drive for a few days..grandad (Ex-mechanic) had a look and he thought it was the head gasket..it went to the garage and well this is what they had found..
The piston liner on the 1st piston had dropped so on start up the engine ran fine and it was when i turned it off and turned it back on it was letting water mix with oil, hense the clean piston and not like the 4th (right) which is covered in carbon! S**T!
it went in the garage on the 26th of january and im still waiting! the engine has been rebuild fully, new oil pump, crank regrinded, bigger bearings, full gasket set, new cambelt! im dreading the bill..
Thats how the story goes so far...
I'll update when i get it back and add all the bits and bobs that i have ordered since its been in the garage!
on order i have
- Blue LED's Bulbs for my Dials
- Red LED's for my Needles
- 8SMD Sidelights for my Angels
thanks for looking!
so im still sat here with a bunch of Mods which cant go on the car yet but hay ho..i have time im only young..18 to be precise haha!
Future Plans
- Gloss the Bumpers, side strips and mirrors
- Tint Back 2 windows light grey
Any other suggestions? Last edited by danlouiee on Thu May 02, 2013 2:08 pm; edited 16 times in total

#13: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Fri Mar 25, 2011 10:19 am ---- I like them? What's the average price for a set of those? Do you think m3 rears or Stick to the clear theme? Clear angels, rears, fog and 3rd break light?
#14: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Fri Mar 25, 2011 10:33 am ---- stick to the clear theme because you already have the angels, you can pick up a second hand set for about £70, they are about double that price new

#19: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Fri Mar 25, 2011 5:26 pm ---- number one, but make sure you get the standard 206 ones and not the 206cc like in the link above, the 206cc ones have a bit missing which leaves a gap

I'll look out for ya bud..where abouts does your other half live?
What do you mean a bit missing? I thought it was just a standard 206 or a cc fitment? I like number 1 and 2 but wasn't sure about 3?
#21: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 4:29 am ---- standard 206 lights have a vertical plastic strip that covers the gap between the light and the inside of the boot, the cc version of the light doesnt have that strip
standard 206
206 cc lights
hope that makes it clearer lol
the 206 cc ones do fit, doesnt look as good when the boots open though
#22: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 4:36 am ---- Ahh I get you..I know there was a reason why I joined this site;)!! Hopefully should be getting the motor back today!:)
#23: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 4:37 am ---- let me know how it runs, will be interesting to see if you feel any power increase after a total engine rebuild! it should feel like a new car
#24: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 4:41 am ---- It should do yeah..specially as MOT it had a new catalytic converter and linkages on the ball joints replaced..then now it's had a full engine rebuild with a new clutch and new drive shafts..I'm dreading the bill!
#25: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 4:48 am ---- the bill will definitly be more then the cars worth lol, but at least you know you,ve got a good motor out of it all
#26: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 5:30 am ---- but then again i guess it'll be better than buying a car which may have problems with it when i know this one is tip top..plus the bodywork is imaculate!
#27: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 5:34 am ---- fair enough, im always in favor of paying to keep cars on the road, i hate the throw away society, where people chuck it away and get another one because its cheaper
#28: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 5:36 am ---- i second that mrrnoname! i love my car i wanna keep it but just change the engine;) i think its because its my first car and its mine!
#29: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 5:46 am ---- i felt like that about my first car, a mk4 fiesta. then some stupid person pulled out in front of me and it was written off
when you get it back drive carefully lol, it would be a shame to write it off a month after all this expense!

#31: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread **UPDATED 25/06/11** Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Tue Apr 05, 2011 2:07 pm ---- WOW i got it back with a hefty bill too! But for the amount of time i didnt have it i had:
- A clutch replacement
- A L/H drive shaft replacement
- A full engine rebuild/refurb
- A new tyre
now to get the modifying bug back! so i got it back it back on thursday (31/3) and i got the LED sidelights in as it was dark by the time i got it home (Garage phoned late!) so this is all i had time to do but i got a couple photos
a little friend got on my roof!
so saturday came and i just wanted to give the poor girl a clean! she had been sat in that garage being pushed in and pushed out daily with handprints all over the windows and bodywork but i soon gave it a wash and did a bit of modifying so hear are a few up to date pics!
I put my info sticker on!
i then did a bit of modifying in the boot, and gave my BASS CANNON a little bit more light!
i didnt get on with my LED 501 bulbs so i got some SMD ones and this is what theyre like - they look great!
also thanks to willhotdog for the SP fuel cap
i still have my induction kit to fit again and my new exhaust but i dont want to mess with anything like that until my engine has settled in okay after 100 miles..only 700 to go!
will update again soon as i put my clear 3rd brake light in! Last edited by danlouiee on Sat Jun 25, 2011 3:14 pm; edited 1 time in total
But please oh god dont tell me you paid for a rebuild?
I piad £80 for an engine, gearbox, wiring loom, ecu and key
#33: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread **UPDATED 04/04/11** Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Tue Apr 05, 2011 3:06 pm ---- yeah i did..but i paid under 1300 for a full rebuild and all those other replacement parts..and labour! the only reason is because i know my sister wants it after me all modified so when i get something bigger and better, (1.6 16v!) then it will be sorted for her!
#34: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread **UPDATED 04/04/11** Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Wed Apr 06, 2011 2:47 am ---- look at the beginning of the thread, we all know it was gunna be expensive but now you know you've got a keeper lol

But please oh god dont tell me you paid for a rebuild?
I piad £80 for an engine, gearbox, wiring loom, ecu and key
With such luck who is to say he wouldn't end up with an engine with more problems than the old one
#37: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread **UPDATED 04/04/11** Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Thu Apr 07, 2011 4:13 pm ---- I'm so glad I got a rebuild..at least I know what I've got now and itsgot 18 months warenty on it too:)
today i gave my car a wash after a wet horrible rainy drive down and back from Plymouth to Helston to go Flambards (about a 80 mile trip each way) and so my car was a complete state! i thought that i would give her a wash and update you guys on how she currently stands.
my usual routine of washing is not to use fancy products just some basic zip wax wash, good old back to black for the bumpers and tyre blackener. i know they are probably the worst products to use but hey ho, keeps my car happy - she comes up a beauty! sorry for the bad condition photos, they were taken on my iphone!
i had to take my SMD sidelights off my front and put them on the back as i didnt have any other bulbs so i have some more on order but they look better on the number plate than the LED ones did my japan!
i only have one problem at the moment which is my Lexus Light on the right managed to get condensation inside of it and when i took it off to change a bulb it all ran on the inside and so it looks mingin! im after a right hand side one to replace it at the moment if anyone has a cheap one for sale as i cant afford some LED's at the moment, look back through the thread to see what they're like:)
i have also removed by K&N induction kit as it was drinking by juices so i am looking to replace it with a Panel filter - any suggestions on which one to get and will it effect my MPG?
i bought a gloss black Iphone centre console off 'tomd0801754' and fitted it, looks class! i will get a better photo of it on Saturday by which my Team Heko wind deflectors should be here courtesy of Welsh_Ben!
i have decided to keep my 206 for another year at least so i can get my 3 years no claims then i was looking at possibly a GTI 138 or even a 180, however with petrol prices not exactly dropping i was looking at a dirty Dervv but a Volkswagen GT TDI 130 or 150 bhp, maybe even a Leon Cupra TDI but thats another story!
however until then im going to look at doing the following to my car..
- K&N Panel Filter - any suggestions?
- New Right Lexus Light (for the mean time)
- Get my Radio Stalk working (Pre-plexed Kenwood)
- get some new Aero Wipers as mine as 19" and 26" are NOT the right size i should have 21" on each side!
- possibly look at Gloss Blacking my Bumps and Side Strips as i like the them Black, Silver and Clear:)
- New Check straps as mine are nackered and my passenger door is denting from the wing
- Black front badge
- maybe change by Angels for some Valeos and Mask them - unsure yet
- Philips diamond vision Bulbs
- New info Sticker
- Amp My Door and Parcel Shelf Speakers ICE
- Paint Calipers Black
- Ph2 washers
- Twin or Single Exhaust (which may mean i need a GTI180 Rear Bumper)
- new aerial and base as mine is awful!
any more suggestions let me know:)
Thanks for looking, will post some more pics on saturday when i have my wind deflectors on!
#39: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread **UPDATED 09/08/11** Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Wed Aug 10, 2011 3:40 am ---- if yr being picky, the "Perfect" wiper size is 22" on the passenger side and 21" on the driver side, however 21" on both sides does fit but you loose a slice on the passenger side, also 22" on both sides does fit but the wiper lifts up a tiny bit on the drivers side
19" and 26" is the correct size for older 206's
EDIT: also take the lexus light off and wack a hair dryer into the bulb holes, it will dry it in no time, ive done it to many a steamy headlight before an MOT lol
#40: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread **UPDATED 09/08/11** Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Wed Aug 10, 2011 6:00 am ---- So I need a 22" and a 21" aero for the wipers..thanks mate and I'll take a photo of the light because I don't think I can dry them as they are already dry..I'll give it a go though:)
#41: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread **UPDATED 09/08/11** Author: kurosagi01, Location: NorthamptonPosted: Tue Aug 16, 2011 3:24 am ---- Get yourself a nice leather steering wheel, for an 18 year old you have sure done a lot to that car. Definitely not a shopping car to use if your mum need you run down to the supermarket to buy tons of stuff, just because your sub/amp takes the whole room in the boot lol. Join the 1.1 club lol.
Perhaps consider getting new suspension and lower it too. =)
#42: Re: 206 1.1 Styling Progress thread **UPDATED 22/09/11** Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Thu Sep 22, 2011 2:28 pm ---- Thought I'd show you my new obsession..Carbon! Spent a couple hours with my sisters hairdryer and some parts and this is what they came up like!
I was impressed as It was my first time at doing so I'd defo give it another shot!

Waiting on my grill to arrive so i cab spray it but my shopping list changed again!

#45: Re: 206 1.1 Styling Progress thread **UPDATED 23/09/11** Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Thu Oct 06, 2011 2:42 pm ---- been a while since ive updated this and have loads of photos as i think its the best way of showing a progress thread!
After my grill arrived saturday came along and so i gave it a wash off in preparation for the spray.
and this was also the same for the Badge in the middle and here it is in the middle of spraying.
The final product (after alot of cursing and swearing!)
in the mean time of the paint drying and before the great british weather desended upon us! i put on my new peugeot stickers around the indicators (both sides) and put a K&N Panel filter in too, you can see the difference!
noticed a slight difference in power, at higher speeds though, truely does help you reach your full BHP potential!
also fitted my Philips Diamond Vision 5000K bulbs too and tonight i have fitted my Grill that i sprayed and took a few pictures..
i also fitted the SP Vent Sliders that i bought of tomd0801754 and also a pic of the centre console that i also bought off him!
i hope you keep on following this thread as i am always updating little bits and bobs:)

#52: Re: Danlouiee's 1.1 Styling Thread UPDATED 29/10/11 Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Sat Oct 29, 2011 1:20 pm ---- cheers buddy, they really change the look of the car i think!
the other day i recieved my new masked crystals in the post from JimJam and so when lee has kindly made me my connectors im going to fit them meaning my angels will be up for sale:)
From the mystery box that i bought of Jared there was a GTI Gearknob in the box and so i rubbed it all back, cleaned out the numbers and sprayed the ball black and left the top part silver, i did an alright job but im thinking of redoing it, quite impressed with my masking skills though!
my washer jets had all blocked up and im not suprised after being almost 11 years old and so i went to peugeot and bought some new ones, not bad for £7 brand new for 2!! so cleaned all my pipework out and then fitted them, much better!!
whilst i was at peugeot i popped into halfords and bought all of their 284 sized bulbs and took my dials out and replaced them because a few had blown, made such a difference and also you can see that i put a GTI indicator stalk in so my angels dipped and main work together properly!:D
TODAY
The s**t hit the fan today. i went to my mate in works house so he could do my new back box for me as i thought i just had a loose baffle and when he took it off i found this!
2 massive blow holes i couldnt believe what a crap design they were!
At the same time i said my brakes had been dodgy for a while there was a bout 3-4 inches of travel before i got a braking response and then he looked the bleeding nipples on the back and front and realised the fluid had never been bled before. We made a start and alot of hydraulic air had built up over the years until we got the passenger side nipple and then nothing but air came out and then one pump on the pedal and a weird noise happened and now i havent got any compression on my brake pedal atall, got towed home and me thinks the master cylinder seals have gone! great just what i need!
i've read somewhere about this being a comman problems for peugeots, could anyone shed any light on this?
i have a couple bits to put in the car soon but ill keep you updated soon!
Thanks for reading
#54: Re: Danlouiee's 1.1 Styling Thread UPDATED 26/11/11 Author: kurosagi01, Location: NorthamptonPosted: Sat Nov 26, 2011 5:07 pm ---- Very nice looking car mate but very unlucky on the backbox mate =/
I'm currently waiting for a new gear knob to arrive as mine is starting to look tack! Haha
I've got my brakes sorted now..thank god!!
Gave her a wash at the weekend and a quick wax with AG aqua wax:) but before that I tried on the sp arches, I know they're the wrong colour but give them a test run:)
I've sprayed my centre console with iPod dock that was gloss black, platinum silver makes it same as the car:)
Jimjams masked headlight arrived a while back and so tonight i decided to fit them as I got my connectors from lee yesterday! Pain in the ass to fit and a lot of swear words later here they are!

The back end looks far too busy with the black bumpstrip, phs1 bootstrip, bordered numberplate and the crease on the non-sports bumper. The eye is drawn to too many details.
#65: Re: Danlouiee's 1.1 Styling Thread UPDATED 29/12/11 Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Thu Dec 29, 2011 1:32 pm ---- that okays mate, ill take any advice to improve, i am a big lover of your car!! makes me want a Blue 206 so much! what would you say i should do?
#66: Re: Danlouiee's 1.1 Styling Thread UPDATED 29/12/11 Author: Howey, Location: Kings LynnPosted: Thu Dec 29, 2011 1:36 pm ---- Thanks mate 4 years in the making on no budget!
I would start with colour coding or possibly getting a sports bumper (I know Matt has on FS )
I would then either colour code your existing boot strip or (upto you) change for a phs2 one (again there are a couple on here)
And I would (if it was me) treat myself to some new plates with stickers instead of screws for the cleaner look.
But thats just me
EDIT:
See what I mean about the new plates? Freshens it up a treat
#67: Re: Danlouiee's 1.1 Styling Thread UPDATED 29/12/11 Author: kurosagi01, Location: NorthamptonPosted: Thu Dec 29, 2011 1:41 pm ---- I wouldn't go all over the top on 1.1 in my opinion. I'd say get yourself ph2 bootstrip and maybe get yourself a nice 3inch exhaust tailpipe from like longlife or something.
Colour code is an expensive task but it changes the cars look hugely.
#68: Re: Danlouiee's 1.1 Styling Thread UPDATED 29/12/11 Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Thu Dec 29, 2011 1:44 pm ---- im looking at front and back sport bumpers and a phase 2 bump strip:)
im looking at getting a personal plate in the very near future in which i will get pressed plates or ones like the ones above.
what mods have you got on your car, engine wise? have it been mapped? im immin' and ammin' between an xs or and xsi to get next? what would you suggest?
#69: Re: Danlouiee's 1.1 Styling Thread UPDATED 29/12/11 Author: Mike_XS, Location: SouthamptonPosted: Thu Dec 29, 2011 3:26 pm ---- I'd go for the xsi. Newer and slightly more powerful

I can get my 206 round corners quicker than people I know with better cars. I get 400 miles to a tank with a janspeed exhaust with sports cat, car tax is a lot lower in the IOM so that doesn't concern me, and I pay £500 fully comp for me (21) and my girlfriend (19).
If you hate them so much, why do you own one?

Wait until you get yourself 2 years no claim then price be slightly better,or even better 3 years.
Out of those 3 i would say the civic sport 1.6 is better choice, more fun to drive and funny they are cheaper to insure than an XSI by huge margin.

I dont hate them, ive just owned one for 4 years and im talking from experience.
Tax is £205 per year which is ludicrous, frankly.
Im not taking about launching my car around corners either, im talking about real life situations where you need power and torque such as overtaking safely and speeding up on a motorway from 50-70 which again for a 1600 is pretty poor when you look at similar engined cars from the same period.
I have all of my mods declared, used for SDP with me and Georgie on the policy and its going to cost me £650 per year which again is a total joke because I can have an Audi S3 for £800 a year with the same conditions!!
#79: Re: Danlouiee's 1.1 Styling Thread UPDATED 29/12/11 Author: Mike_XS, Location: SouthamptonPosted: Fri Dec 30, 2011 11:25 am ---- I don't know if the car tax is done differently here, but in the IOM its by engine size. So all 1.6s cost the same to tax. Which this year I think was £127 for me.
I don't agree that the xs is slow to accelerate from 50-70mph or overtaking. It does it fast enough in my opinion, never had any issues with safety. But to be fair, I haven't really been in many other 1.6s apart from a saxo which is quicker due to it's weight.
At the end of the day its all opinion. I've had my 206 for about 2 and a half years and I'm still very happy with it. I don't intend upon replacing it until I can afford to run a car with around 300 bhp.
its been a while since i have done an update and quite a bit has been changed! ive removed all the red from the badge and then did it gloss black which when well with the masked headlights that i had..although the car went through MOT passed it all but my LHD headlights so i have my angels back with SMD sidelights and Philips Extreme Vision which has made an improvement but i am still after some GENUINE black masked Valeo headlights!!
I got some SP Interior Door handles for a Bargain of 1.09 on ebay!! here they are fitted, just after some Carbon surrounds now (any donations welcome .. )
i fitted my Vibe Tweeters in my covers so drilled the holes and got them in makes such a difference and didnt even know.
i bought a Carbon centre console and side vents off IainLovett for a bargain of £55 (well i think it was anyway) and got that fitted, completely transformed my dash and it didnt stop there. from Shell-Vt i bought some mirror caps which i recieved and fitted instantly..i feel all Carbon
Ive put my PPT40 in tonight which looked brill and one thing i would say is that when using the scotchloks score the plastic wiring down to bare copper wire then lok the blade down as it didnt work first time!
Gave the car an epic clean too here is some whoring and a new sticker..
Thanks for looking, all C&C welcome

And here they are in my car! Not bad for a set of 10 year old mats!
I've also bought some pressed plates for my car..
I bought some number plate surrounds too as I didn't want to drill the plates or loose them by sticky not being so sticky so I got some lockable surrounds and here they are on the car..
I know the back is looking kinda busy at the moment but don't worry, a ph2 bootstrip is on the way which will be sprayed in silver:)

Here are some pics - The front end looks brilliant now with the pressed plates and number plate surrounds!
i am going to concentrate on my ICE for a bit and try to improve it now! i was thinking of spraying my red strip on the honeycomb grill but undecided on a colour..was thinking aegan blue?

Shame really! They were on as 'smoked' headlights, he did me a private sale price and he had a quicksilver with a gti engine in it..I think the orange suits mate, we're they from someone in Cornwall?

Yeah it was someone from Cornwell,i private messaged him and gave me a price that was a lot lower than £40 which is why i couldn't say no,sold it to me for £20. Both genuine valeos too, only drawback i have is there is a dead bug inside the cover lol.
Shame on those headlights of mine though =/ never realised one of them was a depo lol.

More like text speaking when i messaged him via ebay and ooo lol and i got tiny bit of dust but i'm more annoyed with the dead bug lol.
So i thought i would do an update as i havent in a while. I did a lot of tidying up to the car and washing and cleaning and respraying before a couple of car shows. I decided to begin by removing my front bumper and cleaning it all out, removing the honeycomb grill, respraying this gloss black. By doing this I corrected any stone chips that I had and also on the chrome strip that i sprayed Red, I resprayed this in KKN Red. I also sprayed by tow hitch black to give a clean look at the front and also went over my black badge with some satin and then gloss black as i couldnt make up my mind. Let the picture talk..
I also had a clear out in the garage and fitted my SP Pedal Set along with Foot Rest
For by Birthday, 'my Dad bought me' an Auto Acoustics box thanks to Uz. Its brilliant and so I put in a Pioneer Sub in it. I then tidyed up my boot by building an Amp enclosure for my Amp - JBL GTO-752. It underpowers my Sub ever so slighty but im not fussed at the moment as im not making any more changes as i have some brilliant ideas for my next 206 car ugrade!
I did initially have a JBL GTO7001 amp however when i wired in with a 4AWG kit it decided to fry - ive taken it to a specialist and they have said it was damp when I used it - anyone want to buy a non working amp to repair..make me an offer!
anyway.. Tonight i finally got some new lights in the post and so i decided to put them on - dont fit the best but i will be tightening them once they have bedded in slightly - has anyone else had problems with these?
and some random pics:)

Oh and thanks to Rttam and Katie206 i aquired a standard front splitter just to add a little something.
