The three plugs are for the horn, bonnet alarm and possibly the indicator too.

My feet were killing me and I had only split the looms in 2 separate piles. My youngest wasn't too impressed when he wanted it and I left it in the car after putting the cover back on

little update

got the new loom in completely so just need to trim down the wires and heat shrink the joins as i did it with tape to make sure it all worked before attacking it properly, going to neaten all the wires and tape them in sections to make life easier if any need looking at or tracing in the future

also went out and got some washers and longer bolts to raise the back of the bonnet as i have been told its good for cooling the engine etc the l;ogic is there anyway with heat rising

Hey, sorry if this has already been asked, but you replaced the steering wheel?... that would fail the MOT right? removing a safety feature... Thanks!

its a track car

and yes it was on the road with the same wheel but the law haddent been enforced then, not had an air bag on ds for 6 years

Started the car up after connecting all wires for the speedo which surprisingly showed water temp revs and speed all fine but after 10mins there was a warning light as water temp was up to 110 with no sign of the fan comin on or water pump working so going to check them over next to see if they work with live wired to them and check fuses in the engine bay. Might have some wires in different as the loom was from a car I haven't seen so don't know if its the exact same year etc. The codes on the wires didn't match so I traced them to the same ports and connectors etc

You aren't taking into account high pressure areas on the front of the car though and relatively low pressure under the bonnet...general opinion of anybody over the age of 18 is that it doesn't work.
Why do you want more cooling?

My aim is to have it ready for 2015 and have an outing or 2 Croft circuit is only round the corner for me so that going to be first then might get to fcs since its now a weekend event

i was after more cooling as the engine would over heat after 10 laps last time so aim to keep things cooler for the next outing and other than oil cooler this is the only other options i know of that might make a difference

had a fiddle with the wiring for the fan as this is still not working, found a corroded connection so cut and spaded it, the fan kicked in about 100 deg but cut out after a sec so pretty much lost now, where does the wiring go for this ie sensors and relays

Is the fan working at low speed? Or just high speed?

The ECU controls the fan using the info from the coolant temp sensor. At lower temps the fan runs slow (Uses the resistor to control the current) but at higher temperatures it bypasses the resistor to run the fan at higher speed. That's why there are two relays - one for low speed and one for high.

I'd just remove the resistor and have the fan wiring running a high speed only. I'm sure you can find a way of using just one relay too.

The terminals in the relay housings normally corrode so the wiring might need to be cut and fresh terminals fitting.
