#1: torsion bar Author: Seabook, Posted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 6:03 pm ---- manage to loose the torsion bars on the disc axle (finally)
just wonder which way/ direction should i take out the whole torsion bar? (if you know what i mean lol)
#2: Re: torsion bar Author: Addaz, Location: SuffolkPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 6:06 pm ---- From the passengers side you knock out the drivers (bottom one)
Knock from the drivers to the passengers (top one)
Off set washers out?
Also they can knock out either way, you just cant take them out doing the opposite way to the above
#3: Re: torsion bar Author: cartoonhead, Location: North ManchesterPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 6:07 pm ---- narr , just so the splines aint catching.
just make sure to clean the splines on the bar and where it fits and get some copper grease on there and if its needs to be adjusted again it takes 15 min

As it only fits one way, coming out of the axle, one end is bigger
I found this out when i stripped down my axel
Top tortion bar
+++|++++ | (drivers side)
Lower tortion bar
| ++++|+++ (drivers side)
