#1: New wing mirror Author: Davels, Location: NorfolkPosted: Mon Mar 28, 2011 2:35 am ---- I bought a second hand wing mirror with a white plug as my broken one was electric and heated. however when i came to finally fit it the mounting was compltely different and wouldn't fit at all. The colour coded cap wouldn't fit properly either.
I thought all 206 mirrors where the same apart from colour, heated or not, electric or not and electric folding or not. Although this one does look a slightly different shape.
I managed to strip both my old one down and my new one then fit the new mirror to my old mounting but it now wont fold in at all. By this i mean by hand, niether mirror has an electric folding mechanism.

Looks the same but subtly different which sounds odd i know

I wouldn't be surprised if the mirrors off the lower models didn't fold.
