Just recieved the motor today, in total it came to £390,
got the axle from a scrapyard in Peterlee for £120 inc vat. then £30 shipping.
The rest was labour charge, and the garage took a liberty of replacing the suspension arm on the front drivers side! robbing B*£^£%(s!

350+VAT for a recon axle including labour.....

i would rather pay 420 for a recon axle with warrantly.....

I didn't expect more than £120-ish for labour, I don't know how hard a job replacing a suspension arm is, but doing that must have added a lot too it,I was told the rattling at low revs was the cause of it, even though the rattling is still there, and i've found its one of the engine mountings >.<

wishbone probably take 10 to 15 mins to replace one

So it was nothing to do with a suspension arm? I'm going up tomorrow to get an invoice of the cost and things done.
