#47: Re: Site suggestions and glitch reports Author: PuggyXDT, Location: 206 Summer Camp MeetPosted: Thu Sep 09, 2010 7:40 am ---- thought so yeah they look much nicer than the spreadshirt ones plus you can customize it
#48: Re: Site suggestions and glitch reports Author: 206-GTi, Location: EssexPosted: Thu Sep 09, 2010 8:14 am ---- Love the site, only complaint (which isn't major) is the search function. Just brings up way to much which you aren't looking for.
#49: Re: Site suggestions and glitch reports Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Thu Sep 09, 2010 8:15 am ---- Unfortunately, maximising a search function's capability is not something I'm clued up on, even if I am used to a bit of coding.
#50: Re: Site suggestions and glitch reports Author: Mikey2uk, Location: StevenagePosted: Thu Sep 09, 2010 8:18 am ---- The quick search does bring up a lot of info but if you use the search at the top of the page you can enter a lot more info. That one normally brings back what you are looking for.
#51: Re: Site suggestions and glitch reports Author: smiddies, Location: BrightonPosted: Thu Sep 09, 2010 8:19 am ---- Ive got a suggestion!
When you go to Forums> then scroll down, and you click on a topic box (not the actual link the box) the page loads up,
Could you make it so it doesnt load up!!!
I normally 9/10 times click the box and loads up, as I use many different tabs and browsers and use the up down keys to move...
many thanks!!!

If this refers to the fact you click anywhere in a row on the results table when you might want to do some scrolling - I agree with this one.
It annoys me too!
#53: Re: Site suggestions and glitch reports Author: 206-GTi, Location: EssexPosted: Thu Sep 09, 2010 8:23 am ---- Yeah no worries was just a suggestion. I never use the quick search, always the main at the top

Haha, i've got used to that and it just aids productivity now
#55: Re: Site suggestions and glitch reports Author: rudebwoi93, Location: LondonPosted: Thu Sep 09, 2010 9:34 am ---- Ok, so when you go onto your profile, you can view 'your last 10 forum topics', but the only other clickable option is to 'View all posts by _____', it would be nice to have a second option, infact to make this the first option: Something along the lines of:
'_____ Last 10 forum topics':
1 to 10 topics here....
'View all ______ forum topics'
'Find all posts by ______'
Hope that makes sense guys! - It would just help to keep a track of things a lot more, and also yeah, the search feature is awful, impossible to find anything whatsoever using the quick search, how about an embedded google site search? - Just spitballing
#56: Re: Site suggestions and glitch reports Author: 206-GTi, Location: EssexPosted: Thu Sep 09, 2010 11:34 am ---- Or like the old site, last 10 topics you posted in
#57: Re: Site suggestions and glitch reports Author: davek, Location: SouthamptonPosted: Fri Sep 10, 2010 4:11 am ---- Don't know whether it's today or something, but I normally see what the recent posts have been by clicking 'View posts since last visit'.
This normally works, but today if I visit a thread, when I return to the postings list, it only shows what has been posted whilst I'd been viewing that thread! Thus I don't know what's been posted over the last however many days since I last visited!
TBH I don't have time to trawl through each section on the off chance that one of the threads is A: Recent and B: Worth looking at.
#58: Re: Site suggestions and glitch reports Author: Danw_VVT, Location: Herts/LondonPosted: Fri Sep 10, 2010 4:16 am ---- this has been happening with me aswell dave if i click on view since last visit it brings them all up but once i have read on of them it will only go to recent posts instead of since last visit.

Yes I did mean that!
#60: Re: Site suggestions and glitch reports Author: ReeVo, Location: HullPosted: Fri Sep 10, 2010 4:29 am ---- I don't want to undermine the work of Ste and the rest of the admins but I have had little success with the search box or is that just me?
If it's a wide spread problem, maybe a new search tool?
