On multiplexed 206's yes as the side airbags use satellite sensors.

Non plexed are different Wink

Non plexed need an extra airbag ecu on each sill for the side airbags so you will have 3 airbag ecu's on a non plexed with side airbags.

right then, so if you were to have a mux 206 with 4 airbags and was to use a ecu tht is from a car with 2 airbags does it matter whether the new ecu is from a mux car or a pre plex ???

Has to be plexed airbag ecu as there totally different systems Wink

it aint for me, just trying to help me mate out as hes putting some cobra bucket seats in the front of his 206 and he dont want the airbag fault flashing up all of the time,

so we have to find an airbag ecu from a mux 206 from a car with 2 airbags or less, cheers mate

I know someone that might be wanting to do a conversion so has the airbag ecu your mate is after Wink

Is he planing on putting the standard seats back on afterwards?

Did you have any joy with the new airbag ecu? Dog trashed my front seats so changed them but the ones i was given havent got side air bags and this was from a newer model.
