#1: Mud flaps - gloss or matt black? Author: juanfernandes, Location: LondonPosted: Fri Apr 08, 2011 12:13 pm ---- I've bought front and rear Peugeot styled mud flaps.
Not sure if I should put them as they are (matt) or colour code them.
Gloss would look better, but the mud flaps aren't rigid plastic, so I think the paint would crack as I put them on.
Also, paint would get damaged really quickly.
Thoughts and examples of both?
Thanks

What is the right paint? I'm sure there must be a how to on spraying - will look into later.
Did you have them onthe car before you colour coded them? Just wondered if I should they harden a bit and keep their shape a bit better?!?

Author: Timon2210, Location: PalestinePosted: Fri Apr 08, 2011 12:49 pm ---- you need to use the plastic base coat, and then the color of your car, with useing sand paper in the first stage before you spray the plastic base coat, then after it dries, you need to use sand paper again, and then spray it with the color of your car,and then leave it to dry, then sand it again, and then spray it with laqur :D,leave it to dry,and you are ready
