#1: Owner of new 206 but turbo query! Author: Adazrambo, Location: WrexhamPosted: Sat Apr 09, 2011 3:20 pm ---- Hi guys bought a 206 hdi turbo 2.0 today and was worrying that i didnt check turbo properly, how likely is it that the turbo would fail? It has done 100,000 miles but has full service history. Is there any reasons for me to worry and if it did fail how much would a replacement or repair on it be? Just need a bit of reassurance lol, seemed to drive fine on test drive.

#7: Re: Owner of new 206 but turbo query! Author: tomd0801754, Location: MoscowPosted: Sat Apr 09, 2011 3:41 pm ---- Your turbo is fine you would feel a huge lack of power if it had gone. Now stop worrying and enjoy your car. Oh and about £350 for a recon with exchange for yours and £200 plus for professional fitting... But it is fine!

Look after it, service's on the correct interval.
If something needs replacing, do it sooner rather than later.
If thats followed it will run for a long time.

Does the 206 have one of those things where when you shut the engine off the turbo still runs to erdicate the excess oil? Or should i just leave it idle a couple of mins after a long drive?
