are you able to remove the lower steering wheel cowling?

i so you should be able to get at the barrel to release the key

If your car is a pre-mux, that's a known problem: it's the electric part of ignition that is fused... Try rotating key with strongness: it can break inside ignition, but that's the only way to remove it. If you can remove it, you can buy just electric part of ignition (P/N 992712), elsewhere you'll need new complete ignition with a new key...

i was under the impression that it did turn just wouldnt release when at position 0, should of said first time eh!
