today got i a 206 to replace my lil 106 . paid £1900 with 6 months tax and 1 yrs mot . 1 lady owner from new , interior is imaculate . has a few dings on both door from carparks.

recieved my aero wipers today.. so much better than the standard 1s and also had to get the tracking sorted as was miles out .... typical lady owner Razz

well coming home this evening and the clutch goes Sad only had the car 2 days.. luckily the trader put it under garrenty . so car being collected tomorrow for repair

cars been collected for repair but typical man goes to put it in gear to check clutch and it goes straight in to gear :S he said it could be a fraid cable n is getting caught . so fingers crossed they sort it out

got the car back earlier and all seems fine Very Happy the man who toke the car for repair said that the cable had got to its full adjustment so had to replace the cable

small update today. replaced the number plate bulbs for LED's
 

will get a better pic when it gets darker

some more update today.. started to spray the black trim in renault black gold paint around the car as the sun is out Very Happy

very easy to get a finish like that out of cans if you take your time and do the prep properly and take your time when painting and just do light coats

the weather at the minute also helps

rub the item down with wet and dry to give it a key and to smooth it. panel wipe to clean , light coats of colour i done 3 light coats of black and when the colour is tacky , almost dry do light coats with lacquer . leave to dry for atleast an hour to refit. if you want a perfect mirror shine wet and dry and lacquer and spray again . wait to dry and use G3 t-cut and polish

not really an update but spent almost 2 days cleaning and polishing the car and also cleaning places that get missed. also fitted and sticker over the 3rd brake light . pics :
 

 

 

 

 

 


also had to t-cut the drivers side rear light as who ever done the requater respray didnt remove it and got it covered in over spray .

not really an update but i havent updated this in a while now
gave the car a good clean. first with fairy liquid to strip off old wax and polish, then washed with car shampoo then gave a going over with carnuba wax

today started n the headgasket . once gasket was removed all the bit of gasket between water and oil ways were torn . pics
 

 

 

after an hour of head scratching i finally managed to find the block water drain
more pics to come tomorrow

forgot to take pics but got engine all back together. started 1st turn of the key Very Happy anyway lost 1 of the clips that holds the pipe in to the expansion bottle and peugeot dont sell them seperatly . so for now i have replaced it for a bit of hose Very Happy toke it out for a run make sure everything is alright and it blew off the fuel pipe . got it all sorted now

a little update today got round to debadging the boot
 

and in the middle of coming to an offer on a half leather gti interior seats, door cards , head lineing and other bits as other person stripping his 206 to be a track car

also while the rear seats and trim were out i tidied up the wiring for the sub and amp
