Is there any way for me to check the transmission fluid on my 1.4 automatic 206? It got stuck in 3rd gear but as soon as i stopped and killed the engine it was fine?

It could be that it has plenty of oil but the service indicator for the box needs resetting (I think). Best wait for Lee or MrBsi though

Im pretty sure there isnt a dipstick on the autobox fitted to the 206

The auto box has been problomatic since launch & best avoided.
Has it had the valveblock update? running latest software? Got correct oil in it etc?
Find an auto specialist OR at worse a Peugeot main dealer.
