#1: Tracking? Author: s35will, Location: SheffieldPosted: Wed Apr 13, 2011 4:55 am ---- When driving along a straight road/motorway, I have to have my steering wheel pointing slightly to the right. Will this be my tracking that needs sorting or something else? I checked my tyre pressures and it hasn't made any difference.
Cheers in advance

One I use can take up to 30 minutes to track a car, ramp up & down several times & suspension settled inbetween adjustments, the car doesnt come of the ramp until its perfect

How much should I be looking to pay for a good job? Anyone know of somewhere in Yorkshire thats worth going to? If not I'll just go to a local one. Never had to have it done before so I may find a good garage near me i suppose.

Yea I've heard of that too so I tried allsorts of positions on the road and motorway and still no change.
Happy to have it checked for 20-30 quid. Sounds pretty reasonable and it bugs the hell out me lol!

#13: Re: Tracking? Author: Davels, Location: NorfolkPosted: Wed Apr 13, 2011 8:59 am ---- Most places check the tracking for free. They only charge if it is out and they have to adjust. When i had mine done they didn't have the steering wheel set 100% straight so when i took it away I had a turn in the wheel. Took it back straight away and all was good. (ruddy ametuers )
