When driving along a straight road/motorway, I have to have my steering wheel pointing slightly to the right. Will this be my tracking that needs sorting or something else? I checked my tyre pressures and it hasn't made any difference.

Cheers in advance Thumb Up

Needs tracking, take it to a DECENT garage Wink

One I use can take up to 30 minutes to track a car, ramp up & down several times & suspension settled inbetween adjustments, the car doesnt come of the ramp until its perfect Wink

I can double check the history tonight but I think it had a few suspension bushes etc changed at its last service 6 months ago. (only just bought the car)

How much should I be looking to pay for a good job? Anyone know of somewhere in Yorkshire thats worth going to? If not I'll just go to a local one. Never had to have it done before so I may find a good garage near me i suppose.

Can the camber of the road not affect steering slightly? The same thing happened to my old car, when I got the tyres done I asked them to check the tracking, they said it was perfect as was.

Yea I've heard of that too so I tried allsorts of positions on the road and motorway and still no change.

Happy to have it checked for 20-30 quid. Sounds pretty reasonable and it bugs the hell out me lol!

Most places check the tracking for free. They only charge if it is out and they have to adjust. When i had mine done they didn't have the steering wheel set 100% straight so when i took it away I had a turn in the wheel. Took it back straight away and all was good. (ruddy ametuers Sad )
