Just got a couple questions I think I should ask about now!
1) The rear bumper, if replacing non sports, with a sports, is it a good straight swap? - Also do the rear half arch-liners fit the sports bumper? Or do you have to bodge it with cable ties or something?
2) Anyone know of any place I can get some good Carbon Fibre vinyl from? I've seen some "good stuff" on ebay for around a tenner with "air tracks" or something to stop air bubbles forming. Cheap but not skimping on quality would be nice EDIT: This is for wrapping odd bits of interior trim.
Actually just one more!
3) If I were to get some components and some tweeters (then some crossovers) and wanted to amp them up. Am I right in thinking 1 preout from h/u to amp, 1 power cable from battery to amp (with fuse near battery), 1 ground from amp to clean bit of metal, 1 remote lead from amp to h/u then speaker wire from amp to speakers? Also, how exactly does a noob attach the power cable safely and easily to the battery/fuse box?
Cheers =] These are just questions though, I have a rear bumper that I *think* is the right colour which needs to go on (and a front one too) but the audio bit is scaring me (the power bit I mean) or I woulda done it by now... Cheers mate, but that seems to me to look like what someone would want for big panels like the exterior of the car? I updated the op to say that I only want it to wrap interior bits like the center console and the door handle surrounds maybe.

Just for your info though, I wired everything up amp side, then just connected the wire without bothering to disconnect the battery. Do that at your own risk though.

Maybe I'll do that then, have it all wired up and just ask someone I know who isn't a p***y and knows what they're doing to do the last bit. Cheers man. I remember you told me you can wire into the fuse box but do u need any special knowledge or tools for that? Or is battery with battery clamp the easiest method?

Cheers mate, I have the bumper in my shed and I'm pretty see it's the right colour too. I already tried to install the front bumper but got a nasty surprise when I found all the bolts and screws were missing in place of dozens of ordinary screws screwed into the underside of the bumper! I'm kinda staying away from it now until I have more time. But there's no reason why the rear shouldn't go on, it'll sort out a bunch of scuffs too but that's also what I'm worried about, the scuffs were all caused whilst my sister was drivng..... =]
Looks good enough, cheap enough, and I *think* big enough to do the center console at least... As I said, this doesn't need to be 100% genuine real deal carbon fibre as it's only to mess about with a spare center console with!
