#1: Misfiring? whats the problem, any help advice? Author: liam1988, Location: CornwallPosted: Thu Apr 14, 2011 6:30 am ---- Just went out in my lunch break and noticed my 206 was poor on acceleration. Also when i try to accelerate and when i get into 3/4000 rpm and above it starts to make a whistling sort of sound, which i notice the most when im accelerating in 4th gear..
To get an idea of the sound it makes imagine a belt spining and getting worn away? a kind of light whistling sound.
Any help would be great,
Cheers,
Liam
