Yeah fair one im only looking at getting new ones cause there gonna be something i aint seen done before on a 206 and because refurbing my current ones would cost a third of the money im gonna end up spending on some very special wheels

dont wanna give anything away on them though as someone may read and try and get them before me as has happened with on of my previous ideas, but i will say this much there deep dish, split rims but not having a chrome lip well not normal chrome anyway Wink

Amended the first post for your +1 mate Smile

No problems, I understand. I hate it when someone dun stealz ideas form me, so I know how you feel about keeping it hush hush.

I saw Addaz's 206, and his alloys are unbelievable. Very nice indeed. As I say, I just want to tidy mine up a bit, so the highlights look a good idea. I'm also looking at lowering, but in two minds at the moment.

Yeah well the other thing is the wheels probably wont be ready till next year either as i wont be using them in winter thats what my oem wheels will be for Very Happy

Plus i have just found something else to spend money on Laughing my brother took me mountain biking recently to a place near us called gisburn forest and i loved it but i was using my dads bike then took a few does on my brothers and it was awesome doing jumps and riding down trails it can take anything but he has talked me into getting one as there on 0% finance but they are like £1500

That picture is a photoshop on addazs iirc but they are gonna end up like that which will be awesome i agree

Lowering is one of those things though some people like it others dont, im lowered but im lowered on some of the more expensive coilovers as i think it makes all the difference spending a bit more on them cause as they always say you get what you pay for.

Dude, £1500???

I've got a bike, full suspension, 20 gears, a seat and handles no less, £140, halfords mate! haha! Save yourself some more money, trust me!

I do think that 206's look great lowered, but I don't want to go really low, I just want to make it look smarter. I'm looking at some on demon tweeks now, could be a done deal over the weekend looking at this.

I'm a definate. I'll even nip and get some doughnuts on the way. Might be a first come first served on original glazed, depending on numbers.

trust me the things you buy from halfords wouldnt even handle the jumps and trails i go down, this bike im talking about is like proper freeride/mini downhill mountain bike for serious riding we also have another trail near me so it will get used enough to warrant £1500 aswell as i will probably end up upgrading it anyway

look it up its a scott voltage fr30 and believe me for these trails you cant buy a £140 bike it would snap on the first drop off Rolling On The Floor Laughing aswell as the angles not being correct Wink

Your looking at lowering springs then im guessing? Well if it helps you why dont you wait till you have been to this meet and see others that are lowered maybe even take a quick spin in them then you get a feel for it Wink

Dont forget the back is torsion bar if your gonna do that so that could be hard work as i found out with mine Laughing

Ok, i'll give a few of the other cars a view first, get an idea. And the torsion bar nightmare is something i've read up on a few times from guys on here. I may just ask someone else to do that, got a few peeps who could sort it for me.

And as for the bike thing, i'm happy just bumping up kerbs when I go for a ride with the missus, or if I decide, on a rare occasion, to ride to work to keep myself on my toes!
So if you're planning on jumping over double decker buses, and flying through trees, then I agree, miss the Halfords bikes and go for a proper one! Laughing
