#1: Weight of a front seat? Author: Rob2859, Location: HalifaxPosted: Fri Apr 15, 2011 4:37 pm ---- Anyone happen to know this? I sold my two seats to the same buyer. So I boxed them together and it turned out the courrier wanted £80. I stand to make a loss as I only put £20 each for the seats; I assumed that was enough as thats what other sellers were charging. obviously not. Therefore I am going to try shop around but my time is limited. I am yrying to use an online calculator but without the weight they are usless.

They work out how much room it will take up on a vehicle and then give you a price based on that (volumetric weight). A pair of seats may be classed as freight which is always more expensive.
For a pair of seats, you could be looking at volumetric weight of 100kg.
