If it was a front bulb, check all the connections under the bonnet, possibly caught a connecting block

Has your 206 got the big red fuel cut off button under the bonnet by the passenger side strut.

#11: Re: car wont start! Author: sam-c, Location: Uni: Kent Home: ScunthorpePosted: Sat Apr 16, 2011 3:23 am ---- i lost my key over a year ago mattie its not imobiliser as i had a problem with that a few weeks ago and then the starter motor doesnt even spool up lol
#12: Re: car wont start! Author: macca1411, Location: Westhoughton, LancashirePosted: Sat Apr 16, 2011 3:25 am ---- Is the starter spinning? If just clicking then could be battery or earth connection
If it is spinning, sounds like starter not engageing onto fly wheel. Give the starter a clout while someone turns the key
#13: Re: car wont start! Author: sam-c, Location: Uni: Kent Home: ScunthorpePosted: Sat Apr 16, 2011 3:27 am ---- starter motor is spinning so sounds like that could be a problem :/ is this a permanent fix? lol
#14: Re: car wont start! Author: macca1411, Location: Westhoughton, LancashirePosted: Sat Apr 16, 2011 3:30 am ---- If it starts with a knock then probably solenoid needed. They can work fine for weeks then miss once, then work fine again and never have another problem with it.
Just keep your wheel brace handy lol
