4 bolts hold each front seat in.
If the bolts are all tightened correctly the seats will be fine just as if they had been factory fitted.
I know it's a job so simple a monkey could do it. It's just the way my mind works if you get me. With everything I constantly think what if? Bit annoying at times can put me off doing something I really want to. :/
Borrow a torque wrench if your that worried
99% of people find FT is good enough on seat bolts.

What so the XS is cheaper on insurance than the XSI for you?

XS is a lower spec.
Thirsty 8 valve 1.6 engine.
Most XS have rear drum brakes with NO abs.

Yep from a 1.4 8v
XS was an extra £17.50
XSI was an extra £551 :l
#41: Re: Am I blind? Author: LeeThr, Location: North West WalesPosted: Sun Apr 17, 2011 12:47 pm ---- Just looked in your profile and realised you have an XS. Is it really that bad?

Jesus that aint good. Was looking at insurance on my 1.4 the other day as mines due in about 6 weeks times just to get an idea. Came up about £1380 I think it was. Put in the reg for an XSI and it came up at £1450. Considering there 7 insurance groups apart seems quite reasonable.
