#66: Re: Jamie: GTi180 Author: Dave, Location: BirminghamPosted: Sat Feb 13, 2010 6:44 am ---- Meh, Not worth £220. You could spend that £220 tarting up the rest of your engine bay, and keep the alu ones! Muchos better solution!

#72: Re: Jamie: GTi180 Author: carl123uk, Location: NuneatonPosted: Sat Feb 13, 2010 7:18 am ---- i have no idea which is better performance wise but the aluminum one's look better.
#73: Re: Jamie: GTi180 Author: Wiliam_morgan, Location: South WalesPosted: Sat Feb 13, 2010 7:35 am ---- HURMMM i think there's alot better ways of spending 220 squids, if u have CF all overthe engine bay then do it.. but you dont do you i admit the CF ones look better but only when accompanided by other CF bits. u gt samco hoses thats someink you could spend your money on which would look better im thinkin.
#74: Re: Jamie: GTi180 Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Sat Feb 13, 2010 8:38 am ---- Cf are definately the best in terms of performance and shape, so long as they're manufactured properly. How much difference is a subject of debate, but the more air you start drawing in, the more you will notice the difference.
#75: Re: Jamie: GTi180 Author: Jamie, Location: Ring y0Posted: Sat Feb 13, 2010 10:30 am ---- They're made by Jenvey, so I'm guessing there made properly
I've gone for the 45mm bodies which are manufactured to work best with cars above 200bhp
