#1: oil light stays on Author: cu8ey, Location: toronto, bishop aucklandPosted: Tue Apr 19, 2011 3:25 am ---- After a couple mins of driving yesturday my oil warning light came on, stopped check oil level, topped it up. got back in my car and started her up and light went off. few minutes later it came back on.
car feels fine, no drop in revs and is running smoothley, coolant level fine, temp runs as normal.
Checked manual, could be other things but though id ask you lot to see what your thoughts were?
Thanks

Measure the oil pressure - that needs a oil pressure gauge hooking up.
Just check the wiring / change the oil pressure switch
