#1: Clean euro rebuild Author: ultimateauto, Location: MalvernPosted: Tue Apr 19, 2011 5:29 am ---- Well where to start...
Long story with this car a few years ago I was going to purchase this of a friend but we had a fall out.It eventually got sold on and ended up in wales.Four years later I googled the reg and found it for sale at a garage. My brother decided he wanted.Unfortunately it wasn't in the same condition we last saw it in.
My brother has no interest in modified cars and restores classic vw's.So when he ran 206 into the ground I was a bit upset really (blew a hole in the block). After a year of being sat on my parents drive they finally got sick of the sight of it and persuaded my brother to sell it me cheap
The whole car needs a lot of work, new engine all in and fitted this weekend. Will try and fire it up tonight.
The bodykit and wheels will all be change, will be gong for a oem euro look.
Here's a few pics
Here's a couple of my latest car

#12: Re: Clean euro rebuild Author: ultimateauto, Location: MalvernPosted: Wed Apr 20, 2011 3:35 pm ---- Yes it is one of thenicer kits. The front bumper got replaced for a standard one a while back. But I do have a brand new bumper the same as the old one.Probably just leave the rear bumper and smooth the joins out and go for a standard colour coded bumpered with a Leon cupra splitter
