missfire

hi i have a 1.6 glx and it is missing. its not the coilpack or the plugs. but it only missfires when the ligth comes. then it gose off after its missfired hope u can tell wht i mean. thanks ray

if the lights come on a code will be stored, get it code read? that will point you to what it is if your sure its not the coil pack or plugs, make sure that you havnt used NGK plugs because they are notorious for causing missfires apparently..

do you know which cylinder is missfiring? you could try swapping the plugs and see if its moves to another cylinder. if not its probs best to get it code read tbh

faulty injectors? even the harness possibly.

i think you can test the voltage across each of them with a multimeter.

hi my 1.4 glx was misfiring & shaking i put new fuel rail & injectors on
no more misfire & shaking now running like a new car see if it works for you best of luck
