Fitted the spare?
#32: Re: Car not starting without having to press accelerator Author: DJRogers88, Location: Preston, LancashirePosted: Sun Nov 13, 2011 12:45 pm ---- Hello - spare was fitted yesterday and has fixed one problem (groggy when setting off - appears old pedal was sticking slightly) but the old problem of cutting out when starting doesn't seem to be fixed as we came back to the car within 30 mins of turning off today and it did the same thing. Your other post is interesting but I wonder if it could be a similar problem as yours is a problem when the engine is cold.. Hmm how can I check servicebox for this problem?

If it's a fuel-mix issue it could be ECU related.
Note yours is also TU3A setup which means electric throttle body controled by the ECU.
