#1: Strange Problem.....? Author: coopskin, Location: Hull, East YorkshirePosted: Fri Apr 22, 2011 7:00 am ---- i was at a football match last night. which i drove to....car feeling fine no problems..... after my match i decided i wanted to go home, as you do.
so i started my car, and it started no problem. about 3seconds later i wenr ro go put it in reverse and the car died. to which i thought.....how strange. anyway i decided to leave it for a few seconds as we all know french cars seem to throw a paddy now and again.
so i tried to start it again and it wouldnt start........so i left it for 5 mins, tried again to no joy!
left it for 10mins and still no joy. left it for 20mins and again no joy.
All this time the car was turning over freely and not dying so i concluded it wasnt a battery problem....but i cannot think what the hell is up with it!
i think its either something electrical or something fuel related.
any ideas are welome!!
