i just bought a 2001 xsi with all the niceys, genuine morrettes, sp grills, 180 alloys, leather interior, arches bla bla bla extremelly cheap, buuuut the owner said when he was driving it, he heard a 'pop' then all the gearbox oil ran out......any ideas? im forcing myself to get up and strip it down later today but just wondering if its any common probably with the seals or something. the shafts are in tight and there is still minimal drive so dont think its a blown box....

Sure it's didn't go pop as he didn't have any oil in it lol

If you get under car and it's been leaking you will see and smell it, Poss dripping from bell housing or where the drive shafts enter,
