#1: clutch covered in oil Author: sonicscrewdriver, Location: swanseaPosted: Wed Apr 27, 2011 7:53 am ---- my mate just 'tried' changing his gearbox, so he got a new clutch to go with it, when trying to fit the box the gearbox main shaft seal broke and oil poured out into the 'dry cell' (where the clutch lives) covered the clutch and drained out..........im positive a tin of brake/clutch cleaner and a good ol' rub will sort it......suggestions...
