They shouldnt knock mate. Id guess something is either loose after refitting or there is another problem thats been made worse by the new shocks.

Ive never heard of shocks knocking till they settle in mate. Ive know springs settle in and drop slightly but not shocks.
Id definately get the nuts/bolts checked for tightness, and the only other thing that comes to mind is that there is a worn bush or a knackered beam really.

im pretty sure that the rear anti roll bar is inside the rear suspension and if it is then that needs tightning. This is what happend to mine when i got it lowerd. Tightend them up and it was fine Smile

You need to do the shock bolts VERY (obviously within reason) tight. They is so much pressure on them it's so easy for them to come loose. Exactly the same happened to me and yes it sounded like a knocking noise.

Just tighten them and it should solve it.

No worries, very unlikely to be anything else if you have only touched them.

Let's hope he tightened them with the car on the floor and not up in the air, otherwise it may be a case of early bush death soon to come o.O

Speaking of which, I still have a set of 180 shocks sat under my bed that I havent yet fitted lol!

Lazy ste, hardly difficult Wink
