#3: Re: Spark Plugs.. Author: V9977, Location: Athens, GreecePosted: Fri Apr 29, 2011 4:43 pm ---- Word of warning:
I have used Euro Car Parts to find various stuff in the past and it's brilliant BUT:
For some reason I got wrong sparking plugs on two different occasions for two different cars.
Be warned as I was extremely disgusted with this.
Oh, and Bosch or OEM only for 206.
#4: Re: Spark Plugs.. Author: Bigbenj_08, Location: CardiffPosted: Sat Apr 30, 2011 2:54 am ---- Yeah, ECP have been wrong for me a few times too. Might be going over stealers today so i'll see what the charge for oem.
Taa!
#5: Re: Spark Plugs.. Author: Bigbenj_08, Location: CardiffPosted: Mon May 02, 2011 10:06 am ---- ok last question with spark plugs lol (hopefully)
The ones from Halfords are bosch ones that don't need the gap adjusting. I know 206's have issues with some spark plugs, but will these be ok?
or should I try and find the normal ones that need the gap checking at 0.9mm?
#6: Re: Spark Plugs.. Author: Seabook, Posted: Mon May 02, 2011 10:12 am ---- you don't need to check the gap for a new plug....
gap only need to check if you are going to reuse the plug after cleaning
#7: Re: Spark Plugs.. Author: Bigbenj_08, Location: CardiffPosted: Mon May 02, 2011 10:19 am ---- ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

#8: Re: Spark Plugs.. Author: V9977, Location: Athens, GreecePosted: Mon May 02, 2011 10:24 am ---- Those are Super4 which have a quadruple ground electrode and are meant to be excellent.
I personaly think they are old technology by now and would fancy Super+ instead.

Depends what type of coil / engine it was
If it was the old 8 valve lump with coil on the end of block & HT leads then NGK would have been ok.

Yep your right. Engine was 2ltr 8v on the 306 XSi - P reg. Quite a good engine though. That Pug lasted a while. I even managed to sell it on for £500. To one very happy guy.
