im quite new to the 206 scene so not familar with the service intervals and the millage display to say when its due. i no the next 1 is due in 1700 miles what is required on this 1? will it be plugs . oil / petrol filter . oil and check brakes and other bits. once the service light has been reset will it then count down from 10000 miles? if so what is required on that service?

Laughing

there's been so many different engines used in the 206 over the years & 2 totaly different electrical systems as well that without the exact car details you aint gonna get good useful advice Wink

For example: Even the steering wheels are not interchangeable between the 2 different electrical systems.

If you reset the service spanner it will either go back to 18500 OR 20000 miles, depends on the BSI software version your car is running, then again it also measures time so after 2 years the spanner will flash up anyway Laughing

Service intervals? you mean that spanner that pops up? lol if I went by that I've of had a lot more services, my mechanic puts a sticker on the inside of the drivers door to with a mileage on it, when I hit that mileage, I book it for a service, simple. Speaking of which, I've just gone over it, better book it in for a service and a touch up respray before FCS
