#1: Strange noise Author: page206, Location: North West ManchesterPosted: Tue May 03, 2011 1:09 am ---- Hi guys recently in the past 3 weeks my peugeot has developed a annoying whining noise but only when i go over 60 it comes from the drivers wheel and is a loud whining noise any ideas guys on what it could be
ps i know my wheels need balancing but could it be anything to do with that.

Jack car up hold onto wheel one Hand In 10 oclock and the other hand at 4 o'clock, wobble and see I'd there is any play at all.

normally make a humming noise tho?
take it for a run and see if the wheel gets hot could be the brakes a binding
